maintenance of the buildings under the Society's care.
The Little Red Schoolhouse is in major disrepair. Therefore we have formed a committee to raise funds to RESTORE this local treasure. We are in the process of applying for matching grants from the State Office of Historic Preservation. There are several ways in which you can contribute this project. See below:
1. Send a check to our mailbox, Totoket Historical Society, Inc. P. O. Box 491, Northford, CT 06472. On the memo portion of the check write 'Little Red Schoolhouse Restoration Fund."
If you want to contribute to our Operating Fund write "Operating Fund" in the memo section.
2. Send a check directly to Guilford Savings Bank, 1409 Middletown Avenue, Northford, CT 06472. Make the check out to The Totoket Historical Society, Inc. On the memo portion of the check write 'Little Red Schoolhouse Restoration Fund."

The Miller Barn
The Museum, built in 2002, contains farm machinery and farm implements used in Northford/North Branford in the 18th, 19th and early 20th centuries. Artifacts discovered in local archeological digs sponsored by the society are also located here.
