This documents was written by The Reverend Jonathan Maltby in 1844. In 1779 when the British invaded New Haven he was a first year student at Yale. The entire document is transcribed on our on our "Research Documents 2" page. In the document Rev. Maltby corroborates the story of "Dick Negro and the Dick Lot." That story can also be read on our "Research Documents 2" page.
